i'm a bit of a vocab nut, one could say. i love words and etymology, and i wanted to share some of my favorites! this will be an evergrowing list of words and quotes i like or that resonate with me!

mellifluous — (muh-LIF-loo-uhs) flowing with sweetness or honey; smooth and sweet

petrichor — (PEH-truh-kor) the pleasant, earthy smell made when rain falls on dry soil

lacuna — (luh-KOO-nuh) an unfilled space or interval; a gap

apricity — (a-PRIS-i-tee) the warmth of the sun in winter

wabi-sabi — (侘び寂び - wab-ee-SAB-ee) the discovery of beauty in imperfection

komorebi — (木漏れ日 - ko-mo-reh-bee) sunlight filtering through trees
