i don't have much to show from the beginning of this year. during this time, i was deeply, deeply self-conscious about my art. almost to the point of embarrassment. buuut... that summer, the gijinkalocke bug bit me yet again and i haven't stopped since! i'd say during this time i was really just settling into enjoying drawing for myself again. lots of traditional art, too. it was what i was most comfortable with at the time!

2025
i really like a lot of the pieces from this year! during the beginning, i felt basically unstoppable. i did a lot of character design work and bigger pieces showing those off. i wouldn't say i'm the best character designer, but i feel like all the legendary gijinkas i've drawn resemble the actual pokemon, which is really all i'm going for! you wouldn't know it from the dates on these pieces, but i seriously injured my wrists during october of this year. that, along with wanting to work on my style more whenever i was physically able to draw, is why art slows down near the end of the year. still! real happy with what i was able to do, especially when i was often in such poor condition.
