so, haha... i missed the one year anniversary... ehe... um... happy (belated) one year of cloverkeep!! thank you to everyone who's followed me along for this site's journey!! let's stick together for the years to come!!

as for what i've been up to... well... i've been a busy, busy bee!! you can tell by the gallery update, hehe!! i haven't had much time to get on my laptop lately. big things in the works, after all!! but, today was a slow day, so i decided to make an update. i fear they're getting more and more few and far between... but, oh well, what can 'ya do? mystery projects keep mystery project...ing, and the ui won't complete itself... oops! too much to let slip so soon, hehe?

well, maybe not. i've seen a mysterious page pop up on here, and it's seriously giving me the creeps... can anyone parse this for me? link

anywho... to say just a little more on my project, i've been making slow and steady progress. i've been dealing with bouts of very bad wrist pain that has hindered my ability to work on it and feel as though i'm giving my all. so, that's why there's a lot more art this update. i'm still working, trust me! i've just also been letting myself do art outside of it, too. don't want to burn myself out on my passion project, after all!! wait, passion project? i thought it was mystery project?? does that mean there are two now??? Σ(°△°|||)

like i said last time on switching between traditional and digital art to not burn myself out, i like to switch between working and drawing for fun so i don't do too much of one thing. i... actually haven't been able to draw traditionally recently, as it makes my wrist pain worse. digital doesn't hurt, so that's what i'm workin' with for now! haven't gotten frustrated much yet either. here's hoping that sticks!

outside of art, i've been up to a few things... but i'll talk about just one! i've been writing my very first chaptered work!! it's something i've designated i'll work on if i'm unable to draw or work on other things. it's been fun!! it's about how two legendaries in gijinkalocke become friends and, inevitably, get together romantically. as for which two... well... let's just say it's not a very common pairing.

(please trust that this makes sense in my world... okay?)

i have plushies of these two that i take with me nearly everywhere i go. I'm in deep.

hmm... that brings me to my closing thoughts. would any of you like if i had gijinkalocke related resources on here? stuff like plot summaries, lore and worldbuilding, etc etc? my toyhouse pages give information about all of my characters, but that only goes so far... if anyone's interested and would like for me to get to making pages for this sort of thing, please let me know!! anyone is free to comment on my profile, especially about this! it would warm my heart to know people care about my world enough to want to see so much more of it.

it'll probably be a while until i update again, but if there's demand, i'll be sure to come back with plenty of new pages all about gijinkalocke!! thank you for reading, lovelies!

hope it hasn't been too long!! i've been up to a lot since we last spoke!

as you can tell by my gallery update, i've been drawing a whole bunch!! i updated it a while ago, too, but didn't make any formal update on my homepage or here about it. but, there's a lot more art, so! here's my formal update!!

i tend to switch between mostly digital or mostly traditional art, and i think this update makes that pretty clear! it's something i've done for a while now, maybe a few years, just swapping between the two when i get frustrated with one. i highly recommend it!! it makes it a lot easier to avoid burnout.

you may notice a gap between pieces from july to august, and that's because i've been working on something i can't share the details of just yet! a mystery project, of sorts. rest assured, whenever it's finished, i'll post about it here! but, for now, i can't say much more than this! stay tuned!!

because of this mystery project, i haven't been able to update here too frequently and likely won't for the foreseeable future. this will likely be the last formal update until the one year anniversary of cloverkeep! i hope this news isn't too awful! i have a very hard time juggling things, is all!! i'll get back to you all once my project is done and dusted, i promise...

outside of that, my life has been pretty good!! nothing too specific to note, i've just kept keeping on! i read the entire first omnibus of ykk and am currently halfway through the second! and, man, is it good! i highly recommend it!! it's my favorite post-apocalyptic story ever.

i also read seven little sons of the dragon by ryoko kui, which i also highly recommend!! kui is such a wonderful storyteller, and these short stories are all phenomenal.

other things i've been up to: playing umamusume (my favorites are rice shower, taiki shuttle, and matikanefukukitaru), watching good movies and shows (look back, umamusume: beginning of a new era, city the animation), and eating lots and lots of yummy food!!

after working on this overhaul since march, i've finally done it!! cloverkeep 2.0 is officially a go!!! i feel all warm inside, finally being able to share what i've been up to with you all!!

here's my full changelog, as promised:
✿ background and various graphics around the site (namely page art i drew myself!)
✿ rewrote my about page
✿ took down my lexicon and playlist pages (just for now!)
✿ added new pages (blog, gallery, links)

i believe that's all! if i've forgotten anything, um... it's been a lot of work with tons of tiny tweaks!! i'm only human, haha!!

there's a few more things i plan on getting around to adding, namely revising my lexicon and playlist pages, but i really wanted to get this overhaul out of the way first! i also spoke of making a memorial for my cat dexter on my site page, which i don't believe i'll get around to. it's difficult to talk too extensively about him, even so long after his passing.

however... i do feel comfortable putting one of my favorite photos of him here for you all!! he loved to lay on my desk and sun for hours! his fur looks especially good when in the sunlight. he's a very photogenic cat! i have over 800 photos of him for a reason! i think this photo also shows just how soft he is! i've almost forgotten the exact sensation of his fur by now, but just know there's nothing else on this earth like it! i'm patiently waiting for when i get to pet it again in the great beyond...

i'll also put a photo of another recently deceased pet of mine here, my scottish terrier isabella. i've had her since i was in second grade, i think, and she passed this january. she's the sweetest dog in the whole world and would trail behind your feet as you walked! she also had a particularly deep bark that would always scare people who saw her for the first time, haha! we grew up together, and i'm thankful i was able to have her in my life for as long as i did.

so, what have i been up to since my last blog update that you're only getting to read just now? i'm so glad you've asked!!
i finally got debug pangya to work on my laptop, and i've had tons of fun making outfits for all the characters! oh, and playing the actual game too, of course...! admittedly, i haven't played the psp version since... i prefer the controls of it on psp, though, so i'll definitely alternate between the two! oh, and speaking of games... i got every achievement in needy streamer overload!! i only had smt and happy end world left after getting comment te dire adieu, and both were relatively easy to get after that! sometime i'll get around to playing the petit game collection, but not just yet.

i think tonight i'm going to start reading yokohama kaidashi kikou again! i own three of the omnibuses, but have only read about a fourth of one. admittedly, i'm very bad at keeping up with reading regularly, but i think ykk will be a good read to wind down before bed!

other than that, i think that's all! everything else is either same old, same old or more personal life stuff. but rest assured, i'm doing well! and i hope you all are doing well too!!

been a little while, huh? forgive my absence! i'm super glad to be back and i hope you all enjoy the updates to the site!! 人(_ _*)

i don't want to go too in depth into all the bad that's happened, since i'd much rather focus on the good. just know that, as of now, everything is alright! things have eased up significantly, and i'm very grateful for it. my days have been fairly uneventful. i wake up, eat breakfast, take a shower, and usually just do whatever for the rest of the day. sometimes i draw, sometimes i game, sometimes i code a little... can you tell i'm unemployed? hah!

it's almost been a full year since i got out of school, and it's a little anxiety-inducing to think about. i know i'm not wasting any time, i don't have a due date to quote-unquote "further my education", but... wow! a full year? that's a loooong time! hard not to compare yourself to others much further ahead, but, you know what? i'll get there eventually! i've been enjoying myself more now than i ever have before, so i'm going to make the most of it! if any of you are in similar spots, i hope you all can enjoy yourselves too!! take time for yourselves and slow down every once in a while! it's the peak of spring where i am! maybe smell some flowers, as the saying goes.

speaking of spring, my birthday passed while i was away! nineteen... what a number! to celebrate, i went out and got my ladybug build-a-bear stuffed!! it was great!! the worker even gave me a birthday nametag and decorated it in little ladybugs, which was very sweet of them! it was nice to do something like this again, too. last time i went to build-a-bear, i was probably in elementary school! i've slept with the ladybug plush ever since! it's very soft!!

as for another good thing in my life at the moment, me and my boyfriend have been going on about two dates a week ever since the beginning of the year! and that's on top of our usual sunday meet-ups! i absolutely love having plans and things to look forward to, so it's been a total blast to hang out consistently every week! our one and a half year anniversary was on the 22nd last month! again with time stuff, but... wow!! we've been together for a long time now, and i hope it'll only get longer and longer! (aryn, if you're reading this, i love youuu!! chu~ ( ˶˘ ³˘(ˊᗜˋ*)!♡ )

we went shopping together recently and went to a secondhand place! i found a few things, such as three volumes of happy happy clover (the manga this entry's icon is from!) as well as two shojo beat magazines! and guess what?! in one of them, there's an advertisement for albatross18!! aka... the online pangya game!!! i adore pangya, so it felt like it was fate or something for me to find it!! i feel super lucky!!
